Hi! I am Pranjal. I am excited that you are here to know bit more about me. I am a Graduate Student in Computer Software Engineering at Arizona State University. I am fascinated with the advancements of Software Industry since past couple of decades and the way it is moving forward. Senior Software Engineer

I led different intiatives at walmart including renewed Supplier Onboarding platform, Sam's Club replenishment order management systems.

Advocated for tech maturity with operation excellance, metrics, CI/CD and resiliant fault tolerant architectural patterns I championed domain driven design with event driven architecture & microservices development

Information Systems Development, Arizona State University

Student Developer

I worked on three different projects during my tenure as a Student Developer. I developed Optical Content Reader templates using VBScript and Hyland OnBase which improved transcript verification time by 60%

I was also involved in troubleshooting bugs and developing new features in the University Online Application System of Arizona State University. I majorly used Java, JSP/Servlets, jQuery, HTML, and CSS to achieve my tasks.

I was involved in initiating new project from scratch which will help prioritizing business decisions and selection of projects based on ideas and opinions from stakeholders. I was involved in taking design decisions and architecture decisions in this application. I majorly used Java Spring Boot for microservices development, MS SQL Server as backend database, and Vue.js for single page client-side application development.

Associate Software Engineer

I worked on a product from FMCG domain which was serving as an intermediator between Data warehouse and SAP ERP system.

I was primarily involved writing business logic using SQL stored procedures and creating SQL server agent jobs. I also revamped legacy stored procedures using query optimization and indexing which reduced execution time of a SQL job by 50%.

Prior to working on a project, I completed Accenture's greenfield training program in ASP.NET technology. During training, I developed Human Resource Management System application as a case study using n-tier architectural pattern which helped to achieve top performer award.

Projects

Show Me: Related Research Work

Goal of this project is to help the research community to find and understand related research work such as scholarly papers or articles, as well as to help each other in this process.

I am developing a Single Page RESTful Application using Vue.js which will facilitate features such as finding a new paper and its related research paper, visualize relationships in the form of graph, upvote any relationship, comment on any relationship, navigate through history of browsed papers. Other features include authentication, authorization, pagination.

Project uses Node.js as backend application server, Vue.js as client application, MongoDB to store user information, Neo4j to store relationships as a graph database.

Graph Database Management System Implementation

Goal of the project was to use relational modules of Minibase database management system for implementing a non-native graph database management system.

I worked on various database mangemenet system components including Buffer Manager, File Manager and Indexing. I also introduced Node and Edge data structures which can benefit from exisitng building blocks.

Geospacial Analysis in Distributed Computing

The goal of this project was to perform geospatial analysis and calculate hotspots using z-scores on New york taxi pickup dataset. Dataset was stored in Hadoop HDFS and computations were performed using Apache spark.
